The date you officially entered or are planning to enter Canada.

• If you are a Permanent Resident, you must provide the effective date of your residency found on line 45 of your Confirmation of Permanent Residency or on the back of your Permanent Resident card.

• If you have been issued a Study Permit, enter the date you entered Canada.

• If you have been accepted by an Alberta post-secondary institution and have applied for or are planning to apply for a Study Permit, you must enter the day, month, and year that you plan to enter Canada.

• If you have or have applied for a Work Permit, enter the date you entered OR plan to enter Canada.
